Easily the worst Bond girl.
Am I right???
shareShe was really hot and she could have easily beaten either one of us up and we'd probably both have liked and deserved it
Let's show some respect dude!
Smoking hot.
shareI'm not one who is fond of diversity hires, but I have to admit that I actually liked her as Mayday in A View To A Kill.
I didn't particularly like the movie, though, I thought it dragged on a bit too much and poor Roger Moore just didn't seem all that interested in the film.
Tanya Roberts was super smoking hot in that film, though.
You can't speak of Grace Jones as a diversity hire. She's such a strong iconic figure by herself that she could never be a token. If they wanted a diversity bimbo they would have hired Halle Berry.
shareI don’t think so, really. When I think of memorable Bond characters from my youth it’s her and Jaws that come to mind first.
share"Oddjob"
shareI'm pretty sure we are just discussing hot Bond girls here Amigo
shareOh well I wouldn’t know anything about that.
I’ll show myself out…
No, not at all
You have become a favorite fellow here buddy, my bad, you are a sensible person
Haha all good man, I was only joking 🙃
For what it’s worth though I always thought of Mayday as a villain more than a “Bond girl”. That said, she definitely had a ferocious sexual energy about her, as Grace does in real life.
I'm not sure she was technically a Bond girl. I was under the impression that to be a Bond girl, said girl had to get boned by Bond. He boned Tanya Roberts, but I didn't think he did Grace. I mean just because a woman is in a Bond movie it doesn't mean she's a Bond girl, I don't see Moneypenny as a Bond girl.
shareHe did bone her.
shareHe did and she wore him out the lucky bastard
shareDIdn't remember, frankly I don't remember much of that Bond movie. I think I saw it in the theater but never again, all I recall was it was a pretty shitty Bond movie... then again, most of the later Roger Moore movies were crappy.
But if he boned her then she's a Bond girl... though to me some of the earlier girls from the 60's/70's era Bond movies were pretty shitty and worse than Grace Jones... Martine Beswick in Russia with Love was a crappy one especially that shitty cat fight she gets into... and to make matters worse she pops back up in a later Bond movie Thunderball.
In terms acting ability and screen presence, my vote goes to Denise Richards.
shareWow yeah....
For someone to be as hot as Denise Richards was in that film, she managed to stink the joint up big time. I remember thinking about how much of a chore the film was to get through every time she was on screen.
Sophie Marceau on the other hand? Ooh-la-la. That woman is still gorgeous to this very day. She almost had to single-handedly save that film from Richards' poor acting ability.
You are right Eric56, there isn't another Bond girl out there who can top her absolutely dreadful performance.
... and the bitch doesn't intimidate me.
