Wahhh, Tweetar is mean and full of info that I don't agree with or doesn't cater to only info I agree with.
If I'd ever had a twitter account, I'd also leave dramatically!
Assholes like Musk and Bezos don't get my money.
I left. But rather less dramatically, but only because I'm not quite as high profile as Elton.
I've also left before anyway, because the place was terrible even before Elon Musk took the reins. The man hasn't spoiled a beautiful thing. He's just poured even more cess into an already overflowing pit.
Good description! Seriously, there are reasons I never signed up for that wierdness, and now it's worse and going to get worse. I hope Musk loses his last dollar on this deal, and ends up drinking fentanyl cocktails under a bridge.
shareA long time ago now, but I really liked Twitter back in the days before they introduced an algorithm and started pushing 'content' at you. You could easily curate your own timeline to only read from people you actually chose to follow or things those people retweeted. It was simple, it was a mostly good-natured vibe...
... and then they woke up one morning and thought 'Oh no! We need to find a way of paying for all this stuff.' And it all steadily turned to crud. But like the proverbial lobster in the boiling pot, we stayed.
But, yes, I quite agree. I hope owning Twitter destroys him... and Twitter.
