Do you think Billy Joel will ever release a comeback album?

I find it shocking that Billy Joel hasn't released a new album since 1993's River Of Dreams and he really should go back into the studio to record a new album because he really deserves to make a comeback to his beloved fans who supported him

I saw him last year at Wembley (cracking gig btw) and he made it quite clear that the reason he didn't want to record anything new was because he had said everything that he had to say.

Shame really - I'd happily buy a new offering.

Billy Joel is one of my crushes and if Billy released a new album I'd be the first to buy it because he is just so cool and cute. But if Billy Joel were to release a new album it would be a hit

I guess he found more he wants to say because he released the song "Turn the Lights Back On" very recently, and it is superb with a message that hits anyone with enough age and experience right in the heart.

I think Billy Joel is the greatest American songwriter of all time. There is no one better who can tell a story through song like he can. There's a thread on his board here asking people to list his top three songs. That's impossible for me. His songs are divided into two categories: the songs I love and the songs I love just a little bit less.

I'm pretty sure he's quite content to put on an occasional show and count his money. Sort of semi-retirement.
