Looks like...

I'm in the States, so I've never heard of this guy but I just IMDB'd him. I think it's the eyes...but he looks about ten years older than Jason...and is missing a certain "je ne sais quois" that JI has. I have to say that in the black and white photo where he is turning sideways to the camera-- yeah-- I can see it.

I've just been watching an old film with a very young Ian McKellan and I'm awestruck by the uncanny resemblance to Jason. It's not so much the facial features, but more the speech and mannerisms.
