Why does everyone keep saying that she looks old?

I noticed that there a several threads with people saying that katie is aging poorly.
Here are some pics-all taken within the past month. She looks perfectly fresh and lovely to me! Maybe she looks older sometimes, depending on how her hair and makeup is styled?

Also don't understand why people are saying that about her.

Of course at age 35, she is going to look older then she did at age 20 on Dawson's Creek.

Personally though I still think she looks incredibly beautiful, as she always has.

Yes, she looks good; she looks more mature and attractive to me but she also does not look young and innocent as she previously did. I think one problem is that the cover photo for her here in IMDB is not the best.

She had tons of make up on these photos. But I have to admit, she looked pretty good!

Just saw her in "The Giver" and she easily looked mid-forties. Not that that's old, but for a 36 year old?

Agreed... some scenes in The Givers she looks awful. Her jowls/cheeks sag or something and easily add 10 years to her face.

I get that she's supposed to be emotionless in this movie, but she looks vacant in a lot of pictures. Like someone hollowed her out.
