Mad Men and Dexter

I was impressed by him on Mad Men as the priest and now I'm loving him on Dexter! He's perfectly cast, I think. This new storyline is fantastic with Edward James Olmos--who knows where it's going to go! Travis is putty in the professor's hands! I love how squeaky clean he is. He's probably going to be even worse than the Trinity Killer!

I totally agree. I'm kind of shocked by all the negativity on this board towards Colin. I actually like him more than his dad, especially since he hasn't done anything good in like a decade. Toy Story doesn't count in my book because hey, good job, you're talking/obnoxiously yelling into a microphone. I'll probably get a lot of backlash for these comments because apparently Tom Hanks can do no wrong, but whatever, *Kanye shrug* I said it.

You know which Hanks should be getting the most hate? Chet Haze. F^ck that fool.

OMG--I really LOL's at that last line and didn't care if anyone in the office heard me.

Chet Haze? Oh--just looked him up. Never heard of him. Tom Hanks--I remember him dressing in drag on that stupid sitcom. I can't believe he ever made it to bigtime. I find him rather shrill. And not funny. I couldn't care less what anyone on any message board thinks of my opinion. I didn't read the negative comments.

Thanks for the response.

No prob...I have a friend who HATES Tom Hanks, and the first time I heard that, I was absolutely shocked because I'd never heard anyone say they hated Tom Hanks. But the more I thought about it, the more I could see how easily someone could find him grating. I'm lukewarm towards him. I really love some of his movies, but probably since "Road To Perdition", he's done nothing notable and I never really liked his early work except for "Big."

Chet Haze goes to Northwestern with a couple of friends of mine and he's as big of a tool as he's made himself out to be.

At least Colin has never grandstanded and forced his way into big budget stuff - I think he chooses his stuff pretty carefully.

A severed foot is the ultimate stocking stuffer.

I'm not a big fan of Tom Hanks, either. It would be funny if he got cast on Dexter!

I don't know if it's ok to talk about spoilers since this already happened so WARNING: SPOILERS!

Now that we know what he's really about it makes his character all the more interesting! I never saw him in any of the other shows you mentioned. I did see him on Broadway--now I forget which play! It will come to me. He and the other actors were collecting money for AIDS after and I told him I really liked him on Mad Men--maybe not the thing to do--it would have been better to compliment his performance in the play! Oh well! I just looked it up--he was on stage with Jane Fonda in 33 Variations.

I really don't hate Colin, I loved him in Orange County, I liked him overall,
but in Dexter I really didn't like him, he play a cardboard cutout of an evil character, he went from nice boy next door to full on crazy evil guy, no in between, I wish he handle the character more in between, What happened to Nice guy Colin after Dexter realized he was the killer? why so black and white?
I wish they had shown nice guy Colin After Dexter found out, it was too one sided,

I'll look down, and whisper no
