this season was the worst for various reasons but good lord Hanks was the weak sauce! What a farce! Watching him telegraph rage was like watching a 6 year old having theyre lollipop taken away. They should have made it so EJ Olmos's character was imaging him instead!

shareHe wasn't great, but he was still quite good. I would have preferred it if Gellar had been kept on the show, though. It would have been interesting to see the sudden role reversal of the two characters throughout the rest of the season.

He has pretty big shoes to fill with his dad being Tom Hanks. This role in Dexter was difficult because he did not want to be a villain and had misgivings about doing the killings as the story went. But then we find that he is not as innocent as portrayed and look into the deeper, darker side of him. Give him a chance to develop and I think he will come through with some good acting.
