sharemaybe he didnt like the look of you.
you know, the stalkerish look or something
why does that make him a "whatever *BEEP* means". why should he have a photo taken with you? do you ask the mailman if you can have your photo taken with him? or the waiter in your restaurant ? is this guy your friend? no - he's an actor and his job is to act, not to have pictures taken with randoms.
shareIf you are referring to the SXSW music festival in Austin and you were at the Parish where Honey Brothers played, yes, I can definitely attest to the fact he was refusing all pictures which I thought was pretty lame, especially since everyone who approached him was pretty polite about it. I think the problem was 1) he seemed to be in a bad mood and 2) the moment the flashing lights go off, it suddenly everyone 's going to want a photo and I don't think he wanted to draw attention away from his band and make it the Adrien Grenier show. However even at the end of the night he was refusing, so maybe he's just one of those who doesn't like his picture taken. I think Vincent Chase would have said yes, lol, but not Adrien Grenier. Sorry you didn't get the photo, but remember they're people too and don't owe anyone anything. Another time and another place maybe a different outcome.
sharei met him at a doughnut shot in portland one time, he was super nice, didn't care that we took pictures with him, even joked around with us for a bit until his friends rushed him off. it was also right after a honey bros show but we didn't know that, we just randomly saw him. maybe he was just trying to keep attention on the band instead of himself like above poster said.
shareActors may not OWE us anything---or vice versa!---but you'd think they'd be a LITTLE appreciative, since ultimately we (not the studios) are paying for their mega-mansions, five-star dinners, luxury cruises, limos...shall I go on? At least they could pretend to care about their actual patrons, the public. There are plenty of friendly actors who are just as talented as ingrates such as Grenier, Barbra Steisand, the late Paul Newman, Alan Alda, Kathleen Turner and other performers who hate their audiences. Spitefulness isn't a requirement of fame. (Notice I make it a point to remember the ones with nasty demeanors.) Frankly, when I find out how a particularly rotten Hollywood figure mistreats polite fans, I stop seeing that star's films. That's just me, and I know no one else cares about my personal boycott of jerks, but a mean star doesn't deserve my patronage when there are nicer stars out there.
shareGet a life carydog, elbowhero just said she met him & he wasn't a complete d*ck!
He's the star of a quality show & just maybe was having a bad day, get over it! I bet if I didn't act like a complete *beep* if I met him he'd like me haha!!!
You're not even a functional r*tard loool =)
Seriously man, what the *beep* did Paul Newman ever do to you?
Sorry (to others) for going so wildly off topic, but to hear someone call Paul Newman an "ingrate" just because he didn't have time to pander to people like you...I actually find it quite disgusting.
These people may have been a bit surly towards the rank and file of their fanbase, but can you blame them? The moment they say they don't want to take pictures, they are suddenly called ingrates, jerks or whatever ridiculous name you want to pull out of your arse.
Please crawl back into your hole and don't respond to this...because you make me feel slightly ill.

I aim to misbehave.
Great idea! Tell me where you work. I'll boycott that company.
