I was surprised by his intelligence in Teenage Papparazzo. He came over quite nonchalant and unthreatening but that disarmed both the son and parents to reveal and be more open than they perhaps would have.
His initial questions of the professionals interviewed may have been scripted but his follow up questions were relevant and intelligent. His responses to those who questioned him were thoughtful and genuine.
I could see him being quite a good documentarian in the type of Louis Theroux. If he hasn't already, he should go and study documentary filmaking.
