I agree, Michael Jai White is awesome! He's seriously the only thing the Spawn movie got right. My cousin likes to argue that Jamie Foxx will be better because he's a "better actor", but I don't see Jamie Foxx handling scenes where he has to be threatening very well in the upcoming Spawn movie. Every time I see Jamie Foxx in a serious scene or a scene where he's trying to come across as threatening, I can't help but think of Jamie Foxx as Wanda in In Living Color! Michael Jai White would kick Jamie Foxx's ass in real life, because Michael Jai White actually knows how to fight.

I agree with you, also Michael Jai White had an awesome voice for spawn, i disagree with you about the movie though, because i think it was very good for its time, and i read Spawn comics immensely back then.

Michael Jai White has more talent and class in his left pinky than Foxx ever will. After watching him spare with Kimbo Slice on the set of NBD, I would love to see him rearrange his little rat face as well.

I agree with the sentiments of the other posters....not too much more to add to it. Foxx is overrated and I liked White in his productions from Tyson, to The Dark Knight, to Spawn.

You bring up In Living Color, which was like 100 years ago. He hasn't done a comedy n forever. He's done nothing but serious roles and has been damn good. Actually, he's done Horrible Bosses and its sequel, but he was very funny in the first one, so that just proves his talent even more.

Elba would be an excellent choice however, it's rumoured that he's a top contender for the role of Apocalypse in the sequel to X-Men DOFP. Between that and playing Heimdall in both Thor instalments, I'm not sure he'd be up for another comic book character.
