What awareness did they raise to others in that letter?
Nothing in that letter revealed anything people don't already know about the current conflict or the current state of Palestine. Furthermore, it seems to me the letter contained blatant distortions of reality. There is no genocide taking place as what was clearly worded. How can one take the time to write such a public and politically sensitive letter without even considering the accuracy of the content?

While Palestinians are certainly suffering from poverty and many are caught in between the conflict; it is not Israel to blame for those deaths. It's Hamas! The terrorists group that was "allegedly" democratically elected by Palestinians themselves. Palestinians are not helping their own cause by putting a terrorist group in office. Just like any other country, Israel has every right to protect themselves from rocket launches and terrorist invasions carried out by Hamas via a network of tunnels they created.

When Israel retaliates Hamas goes into hiding behind it's own citizens they are supposed to govern.

You need to be aware of what it is like to enter into urban warfare where the enemy terrorists doesn't play by any rules. An enemy that places it's own people in the line of fire and hides weapon caches in schools, churches, and homes.

You need to be aware how advance those rockets Hamas has obtained and they are more than willing to launch upon anyone in Israel; whether they be women, men, or children.

You need to be aware that the Palestinians are a population of 1.9 million mostly young that lack real leadership. A leadership that should focus on building a society instead of seeking to destroy one. There are many Palestinians that seek peace but they need to rise above Hamas and lead itself to it. Israel has taken steps to make peace possible. They have returned land back to the Palestinians only see in return those same Palestinians elect Hamas to govern them.

There is nothing great about writing a one sided public letter littered with half truths.

what about the kids in sderot who suffer constant rocket atacks for the last 9 years?,what about the kids in gaza whose parents are executed by the hundreds for trying to protest against hamas,what about all the kids in syria that died during the past month(more kids in syria died in the last month then the entire amount of caualties in gaza),what about the kids in iraq who are slaughtered by isis for not being muslim,what about the kids in north korea who some of them are just lucky enough to only live on the streets and not in family jails. the list goes on an on but wheres the letter condemming those actions?apperantly kids who died while being served as human shield for a terrorist orgination that can only compete with isis for its sheer crualty not against israel but against its own people,they deserve your respect but not other suffering children around the world.
what truly disgust me is that even after the conflict will end and hamas will still be in charge,the palestinians in gaza will still be tormented every day by hamas and will the rest of the world care then?im guessing no because it will be harder to blame israel for those actions.
so to me if you realy think that israel is the cause of suffering for the gaza people then you are either anti-semitic or just ignorant.
