All actors wear make up on movie sets!

AND EVEN SOME WEAR THEM IN EVERY DAY LIFE!! It is a fact. They wear makeup to premiers and public appearances. Some "macho" ones FIGHT with their handlers about wearing makeup in public but usually end up doing it anyway. The ones that DON'T wear it get called pasty and tired. So I am BETTING that Mr. Carbonell DOES indeed wear makeup. It is his "look." Just like I could wear the same ammount of eyeliner as the next girl and look totally different than she does wearing it... so Mr. Carbonell most likely shows his makeup differently due to naturally dark eyelashes. JMHO.

Wearing eyeliner wouldn't fit with his character in Lost or in Dark Knight- I can't imagine that they would let him just do that. It seems to me that his eyes are naturally like that... if you look closely he has extremely thick eyelashes, they are intense. I think the amount of eyelashes does give his eyes a black-rimmed look.

he has naturally dark and think lashes. You could tell in the seen when he looks down he had no make up on.

I'm convinced that he used an eyeliner. Very unusual for a mayor, but not out of character. Still I wonder if some deeper meaning ist attached...

Yeah, I don't understand why it's so hard for people to understand. As a dedicated Lost watcher, I can vouch that his eyelashes are natural. I mean, I can think of people in my life who have very thick eyelashes. Besides, just look at some of his other pictures, I'd say they're fairly prominent.

i couldnt agree more.

im sorry. his eyes just look weird, creepy. the man is not unatractive, but his eyes scare me like that :s it HAS to be eyeliner... i mean, not that there's anything wrong, maybe he just likes the way it looks so its not something he has to be a character or that producers wouldnt let him do that bla bla bla... maybe he just likes the look and does it himself or whatever.

or yeah, perhaps its tattoed!! i wish someone would shed some light in this matter... its so controversial! lol!

Several sources have stated that he DID wear eyeliner in The Dark Knight to give his character "a more Frank Miller comic book effect", but that other than that he does not wear eyeliner.

And I don't see why he would. The man definitely does not need it. I'm so jealous! ;)
