About watching the latest Lost episode surrounding Richard Alpert because I was never a fan of his character but OMG, Carbonell was amazing! The whole storyline reminded me as to why I became hooked on this show. This is the type of writing that Lost needed in the past few seasons. I really hate that the writers waited until there are only 8 episodes left to allow Nestor Carbonell to shine. I hope he receives tons of critical praise for enhancing a lackluster season.

My favorite character too for the past few years, though used surprisingly little.

I think we're all a little amazed at how good he was because he hadn't had an opportunity to show us his range.

I just hope the Emmy nomination happens and he doesn't get overlooked for the same old, same old...

Ben and Richard were the best characters, along with John in the latter portion of season 3 and on. John Locke really meant a lot to me in Season 3 when he met Richard. All of these three characters amaze me.
