Taller than her leading men

I think SB is a pretty good actress (given the material she's working with), but I'm always distracted by the fact that she's so incredibly tall!

Now, I have nothing against her or tall people (ie women), but there are two movies where I just can't help be laugh. 1) Enigma; she's taller than Dougray Scott, in a car, SITTING DOWN! 2) Seventh Stream; she's surrounded by a crowd of people and is maybe a foot taller than everyone in the entire crowd!

Okay, I'm done now. Just wondered if anyone else noticed this

Tall women exist. Short men exist. They both co exist on the same plane of reality, so it happens. I'm sorry - I know you're not being insulting, but as a 5'11 girl it gets tiring having my height being such a point of interest to everybody while a 5'11 guy would be of no interest because for males 5'11 is considered 'average'.

Lol...As another 5'11" girl I think it's great to see taller actresses (SB, charlize theron...) So many times it's all about being petite and cute so it's nice to see these actresses.

I'm totally loving Josh Groban!

Of course, tastes vary. But speaking for myself (27 years of age, male), I consider a tall woman to be very attractive. If nothing else, I'd consider it a positive point of interest! :)

As I had said in my original post, I have nothing against tall women (or short women, for that matter). It's just that, as far as movies go, when the woman is taller than the man, sometimes, they prop the guy up on something or take extra-special steps to make sure the woman doesn't wear high heels

That's why I made the post, because it's so unusual when you see the filmmakers not doing those things anymore. It's like watching evolution in progress.

Yeah I noticed she was towering over everyone too. The poor guys the cast must have had some complex.

To the 5'11 girls---- I am barely 5'2 and hate it! Don't you guys know being tall is considered an asset? Why are you upset about being tall? Being short is considered a deformity by society. You don't know how many times I've heard "You could have been really pretty if you were not so short"

Only Salma Hayek, Kylie M. and Allysa Milano can get away with being a short sex symbol. You have to be really slim, booby and pretty to qualify for that tho.

there are many short and tall women in hollywood/music...

jessica simpson, britney spears, jennifer love hewitt, jennifer aniston, avril lavigne, sarah michelle gellar, they are all 5'5" or shorter...

you also have tall women like NIcole Kidman, Natasha Henstridge, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Garner, etc who are 5'8" or taller...

honestly i don't think height matters unless you are a dwarf like under 5'0"...

being too tall isn't good either like above 6'6" for a woman...

honestly people obsess way too much over looks... no wonder why 50% of marriages end in divorce...

i mean sure u gotta be physically attracted to someone for it to work out, but looks do fade over time... and you shouldn't marry someone based on looks alone, and be like who cares if they are a b1tch or jerk, they are hot...
