I thought about not replying, but just could not resist...


In VERY recent news, Stephen Collins (the Dad in the TV show 7TH HEAVEN, with Jessica) is allegedly a pedophile. It seems that a psychological counseling session with him and his wife was recorded, and that recording was "leaked" to the press, just as his divorce trial with his wife was getting ready to start. Curious timing on that "leak".

This is odd, because he was all up in arms about that photoshoot you mention (GEAR Magazine, photos taken when Jessica was 17 years old, and her parents were reportedly present at the shoot). He stated that photoshoot was child pornography. Evidently, he was one of only a few people that objected at the time.
(Look in the "current news" sections of the main page for a link to the "US Weekly" Magazine article about that. I think that is the right magazine name...)

The other interesting thing about that photoshoot and GEAR Magazine, is that the issues were deliberately not put on the stands until Jessica turned 18.
In the recent 'celebrity nude photo hacking scandal' a month or so ago, there was a big deal about how one of the young actresses that had photos leaked, was underage when the leaked photos were taken. That was a big piece of news about that photo leak story. (If those photos were "selfies", and stolen from her phone or internet account, does that mean SHE is guilty of producing, possessing, and maybe intent to distribute child pornography?)
Granted, Jessica's GEAR issue was in 2000, and it is now 2014...



Somewhat related, and it had its own HUGE firestorm about child pornography back then, but Brooke Shields made a movie titled PRETTY BABY, portraying a child prostitute in old New Orleans, Louisiana. Brooke was interviewed on the late night Johnny Carson Show, and one of the questions he asked was what she thought about the movie... She replied that she didn't know, because it was rated "R", and was too young to get into a theater to be able to see it!!
(NOTE: Many countries have different ideas about nudity than the USA does.)

Those photos can probably be found on the internet, and copies of the magazine appear for sale on eBay sometimes. The article about Stephen Collins also shows that issue of GEAR Magazine with Jessica on the cover, titling the article "Fallen Angel".
When those photos were taken, Jessica was legally a child in the USA, since she was not yet 18 years old.




Now that you mention it, Stephen Collins, (the "Dad" in 7th HEAVEN), possibly was in the show with Jessicas Biel during the time he supposedly was involved with a child age 11, 12, 13 years old, but I believe Jessica was older than that during her time in 7th HEAVEN.

No, it's not odd at all that he was "up in arms". I personally know of a friend who's father is/was a complete pervert and he always got concerned about the clothes they wore, (shorts and skirts were a no-no) and only let his daughters be friends with girls that wore very modest clothing, or had them cut them off. It was because he struggled with porn and whatnot. A lot of guys cover up for it sometimes by dissing it a lot in public.
