Find the way she talks in GCB really annoying? It's like she talks through her teeth and over-exaggerates every word...I kind of find it off-putting and get distracted by those big white clenched teeth, instead of actually listening to her character's lines. Did she talk like that in Shopaholic?! (It's her only other role I've seen.)
Don't get me wrong, I love the show and think she's really attractive...but I want to know if anyone else sees what I do, or is it just me?!

I think she was miscast on that show. She was playing the straight-man, all uptight and exasperated, and couldn't break out of that 'type'. She's one of my favorite actresses, though, and is usually pretty great in other things. Loved her on Popular, she played against-type in Miss Nobody, and was great in a crappy movie called Meeting Evil that came out recently.

Yes, exactly that. She was miscast, the role didn't suit her. I hate to say it but she was the weak link on that show and she was the lead.
