Stop making her a "thing"

People are very desperate to turn this non-entity into some legendary, tragic figure on par with Billie Holiday or something.

She was nothing special, just famous for having died early, but left absolutely no impact on culture or music whatsoever. I wish people would stop making her a "thing", and would focus on the true legends of stage and screen.

She boarded an overloaded aircraft and it crashed. Natural selection triumphed. She did not add to the gene pool.

I liked some of her music before she died and didn't see any of her movies until years later. You are right though, she is no legend nor will she be. She made a dent in the industry within her time. That is more than most.
