Party Down VS. Parks and Recreation

I think Adam Scott is excellent in the Starz series "Party Down" he is also great in many films. Awesome in Eastbound & Down.

The show "Parks and Recreation" is extremely boring and it Sucks (in my opinion) and it is not showing his comedy talent.

I know his paycheck is a lot bigger from NBC over Starz.

The writing on Partydown is a million times better than Parks and Recreation as well.

If Party Down is picked up for a third season, I hope he does more than 3 episodes. I would still watch Party Down without him, I'll skip all future episodes of parks and rec.

Definitely parks and recreation, but the problem is, he doesn't really have a personality in either of them. I see more character development potential for parks and recreation, though.

Acting wise he is great in both and i love both of those shows. Parks and rec is my favorite show on tv right now. In cuteness he looks great on both shows. But i have a bigger thing for ben wyatt.

Your opinion sucks.

Both shows are hilarious. But i give the edge to Parks.

Truly brilliant in both.

While I ove Party Down, I really don't see how you can hate P&R that much. The pacing is really similar to PD, so saying it is extremely boring is odd to me. I love P&R and his character is awesome.

I love Parks and Rec, but out of the two, Party Down gets my vote.

We get it, you don't like Parks and Rec. I just marathoned Party Down and I liked it, but feel that P&R is superior in every way. Still, I enjoy both.

I don't normally watch Parks and Recreation *ever* (I don't watch most TV shows), but I couldn't find anything else on and wanted to keep watching TV, so I put it on. I had no idea he was even on this show, so I was pleasantly surprised.

It wasn't bad. Paul Rudd was absolutely hilarious in this episode. The story of his character running for office was pretty good, so I'd probably watch it again. I like a lot of the cast on this show, but I do think that the writing holds them back a bit. I liked Adam, but I agree that it doesn't really let him shine.

I actually don't really remember him in a role where he wasn't a jerk (like in "Step Brothers"), which is unfortunate because he's good enough and versatile enough to do roles way beyond that stuff. Party Down, in particular, made me realize how good he really is (I could probably say the same about the rest of the cast).

I do think that Party Down is a much better show, but that's partly because it's a premium cable channel show and not a mainstream network show (which always end up being watered down).
