I suppose he's a very good actor but..
It's annoying that whichever film I see he acts like a douche and that's just disappointing because he could play a better role.

shareIf he's like that in all the films you see. What exactly is leading you to believe he's capable of doing anything else?
shareHis most consistent and memorable role is probably Ben Wyatt on Parks and Rec and his character is definitely not a douche. He's capable of a range of characters, he's just played that role in multiple movies.
shareThat's only because he is still on the rise in Hollywood. Comedians start out getting supporting or character roles. Most of these types of roles are antagonists or douches. I bet you will start to see a wider rang of roles for him soon.
Besides douches are some of the most interesting characters and Scott is brilliant in the role.
We are the children of children and we live as we are shown- "Joe vs. The Volcano"
he does play a better role, he has had a full time job playing Ben on Parks & Rec (a sweetheart) for 6+ years. unfortunately, for us, that is over now but hopefully he will keep getting good work!
shareClearly you haven't seen much that he's done, because his role in something like Step Brothers is actually playing against type. I first saw him in Party Down, which is exceptional, and I think that's far more of a defining role for him. What have you actually seen him in?
