Not sure why his performances are so interesting, but he killed in Step-Brothers & Walter Mitty.

Haha he was HILARIOUS in step brothers.

Your spot on. He plays a great jerk. He can also play a sweet guy very well as evidenced by Parks and Rec.

I just saw Leap Year and came on here to see if this same actor played the antagonist in Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Haven't seen a lot of Adam Scott's other work, but he does play a jerk really well. I wanted to punch his face both times.
