That sucks. Boy, you should have seen her in her prime. What an amazing beauty she was!

Damn, I even had low expectations when clicking that link and still ended up disappointed.
shareYeah, admittedly, the photos that I’ve come across of her online, don’t do her justice. If you ever get a chance to see an episode of The Virginian, titled, “The man from the Sea, she looks amazing. That episode made me an instant fan! Carol Lynley plays her homicidal sister in it. She also looks great in her guest appearances in The Invaders, The Outer Limits, and The Streets of San Francisco.
Speaking of The Virginian, James Drury just passed away about a week ago, and Carol Lynley, that played her sister in that episode, only very recently as well.
Sad news... a good and very hardworking actress. R.I.P.
shareSuch sad news.
I loved her as Polly in The Group and as the mom in As Good As It Gets. I've seen her in other roles but these two are my favorites.
May she RIP
Peace be with her. I had seen her just a few weeks ago in the 1980 Auschwitz drama "Playing For Time" for which she won an Emmy nomination. I saw the 1981 "Endless Love" also recently, and her performance was perhaps the best thing about the film. I'm sure Coppola owes her some debt of gratitude for being the star of one of his first features "The Rain People" in '69. Always a talented character actress.
shareOh yeah, almost forgot about Rain People. That was a great low-budget film totally '60s. Also she did Dutchman, another good low budget one in '67, her prime.
shareshe looks familiar. was she on law and order svu? she played a villain on there if i remember where she abused a kid.
shareShe had some great roles.
