he has enough money to finance both projects himself. as far as i know did jeff anderson pull out of clerks 3 at the last minute though, therefore killing the project for good.
nevertheless, i think kev is afraid of both projects as well. i just rewatched clerks 2 after a long time and damn, even though i did not understand the criticism after the first viewing, i surely understand it know.
also, considering his recent and not so recent body of work, not including including comic book men, it might be better for both franchises to let it be.
as for jay and silent bob, i am not sure. the movie was great, the animated movie was terrible and both dude living both personas in public for years and years made them pretty annoying. nevertheless, it could be good.
personally i would opt for kev doing solo movies for other characters from the viewaskewniverse. why no dante movie? banky?
