The underdog


No one ever mentions James Mangold when discussing the best directors of our age, which I think is a damn shame. The fact that this is the first post here just illustrates my point. It's a bloody outrage!

He has directed some of my favorite films and even his weaker films show a directorial style superior to many of the more praised film makers.

3:10 to Yuma (2007)
Logan (2017)
Ford v Ferrari (2019)

Very much looking forward to both Juliet and Crenshaw too. This forum needs some Mangold love.
