Nah. I think she will be an adcocate for rape vctims rights after SVU. She is already making connetions in D.C. Philanthropy is her future. Acting really is not a priority.

Lately? She's a limited actress who was lucky to get on the show. I never say never but I will be very surprised to see her do something totally different.

Haha. Tell me this was sarcasm. We are talking about HOLLYWOOD here. A lot of people get by on connections of any kind. Well, most in Hollywood do. One could say Mariska is an ultimate example of nepotism.

Who said anything about an Emmy? I'm saying she's lucky to have gotten on the show period.

I find Mariska to be extremely overrated. I don't think she is the worst actress on TV that title goes to Ellen Pompeo of Grey's Anatomy. The fact that Mariska has been nominated for Emmys 7 times is a joke. She isn't a critics' favorite. Let's be honest Mariska has a lot old connections in the business because of her family and likely that helps her get nominations. SVU has lasted way too long and when it does end I don't see other shows or networks clamoring for Mariska. Playing a character too long can hurt actors and right now it seems that cable channels are dominating more and more and cable networks are going to snatch critially acclaimed actors/actresses rather people who get Emmy nominations but have no critical acclaim.

She's the highest paid female on a network series,,somewhere around 10 million per season. She doesn't need to do anything else.
