In the VERY early years of JCS's history, this recording was done in 1971 and Dorian is singing the Judas part in this.

So weird. That video was uploaded TODAY and I just came upon it looking for JCS stuff. Reading the text posted with it I recognized the name but couldn't place a face with it so I hit IMDB and was taken aback when I saw him. It's such an obscure recording and was made FOUR years before his first IMDB TV/Movie credit.
It's a crime that Dorian isn't seen on much TV or movies. He was like a staple "that black guy" character in various movies throughout the 70s and 80s but also did a lot of good character study type of roles, and he clearly has a presence on the screen. I wonder why he's been lacking these past 20 years. His imdb listings look rather scant. If you ask me Hollywood has regressed in casting black men in movies as they either have to be young and popular with millennials or old and god-like (ie - Morgan Freeman, Sam Jackson)
