I've never known anyone with the name Melora, it's very pretty. Is there a story behind how she got her name?

shareIt IS very pretty, I agree :) And yes, there IS a story behind it: When her mom was about 16 or so, she read the book/poem "John Brown's Body" and saw the name of a character in the piece named "Melora". She fell in love with the name, and decided right then and there that if she ever had a daughter she would name her Melora. And, of course, that's exactly what she did!
