The best player of all time is Mario Lemieux

I'd even put Orr above Gretz as a better player.

Mark Messier.

Won cups with him and without him.

Gretzky never won a cup without him.

He only won 2 Stanley Cups as a player. With the same team.

Messier won 6 as a player. With two different teams.

You can have all the stats you want but your name on the cup is what counts.

I think his record is 14 in one sitting. He claims the right BBQ sauce makes all the difference.
