Music ruined

Eric Clapton has great songs and amazing guitar skills. Hes so good that a lot of new players use his music to learn how to play.

I lived with one of those guys and after months of hearing him play Eric Clapton over and over again, I can't listen to his music. Too bad. Clapton is talented.

reply

That's unfortunate.

Even the Pope has more class than Clapton.

It's hard to admire someone who just wants to throw their selfishness in your face.

Everyone be safe.

reply

I can't listen to him since I learned he's a screaming racist.

reply

"Muh racism"

reply

White supremacist 🖕

reply

I doubt this is true.
He may have uttered some ill-considered words, but I hope he's not some B&W racist.
Shit, old guys like me have old notions that are hard to let go of. That doesn't mean we are all Flaming Racists and should be treated as such.

reply

It's a fact he said what he said. It was even talked about in his documentary!

reply

Ironically, Argentina has quite the history with racism

reply

wtf would you know about anything, ignorant American.

reply

A few comments don't make up the entirety of a man. Surely even liberals can grasp that concept, or am I giving you too much credit?

reply

Anyone who doesn't forgive someone because of their thought process, especially thoughts that were decades old are saying a lot more about themselves than the people they are trying to accuse. If they have such strong anti-racist sentiments, they should be in the face of bands like Rage Against The Machine which are currently trying to indoctrinate children onto their racist bandwagon.

reply

What's going on with Social Distortion? They've been saying that racism is bad for years.

reply

Sorry about that. I meant Rage Against the Machine. I'll edit my post.
