Bellucci "to have another girl" - Second daughter due in July


Three-months pregnant Italian actress Monica Bellucci is expecting a second girl, Italian showbiz news website Sorrisi.com reported Tuesday. Bellucci, 45, had her first daughter, Deva, with 43-year-old French actor husband Vincent Cassel in September 2004.



While pregnant with Deva, Bellucci posed nude for the Italian edition of Vanity Fair Magazine in protest against Italian laws that prevent the use of donor sperm. In a documentary movie about the film The Passion of the Christ, where she played Mary Magdalene, Bellucci said she was an agnostic but believed in "a mysterious energy, the one that fills the oceans during tides, the one that unites nature and beings".


Bellucci's marriage, which dates to 1999, is seen as one of the most solid in the film world and she has appeared in several films with the charismatic Cassel, who is one of France's biggest stars and has had hard-hitting villain roles in English-language films ranging from Ocean's Twelve to David Cronenberg's Russian gangster drama Eastern Promises.

Bellucci, whose credits include Malena, Matrix Reloaded, The Passion of the Christ and The Brothers Grimm, was previously married to Italian fashion photographer Claudio Carlos Basso but the brief marriage, dating to 1990, produced no children.

After giving birth to Deva she described the experience as ''carnal and divine''.

Deva means 'divine' in Sanskrit.
