Filming later this autumn., perhaps in 3D, by Christopher Gans (brotherhood of the wolves) I think it will be a mix of fun, action and fantastic. The challenge is considered as high, because the latest Fantomas (in the sixties, in Europe, 3 movies) is a true cult saga...

Unfortunately Fantomas is not really the main character in this series, it was Louis de Funès. I hope he'll get a worthy follower. Maybe Christian Clavier or Michael Bully Herbig? That would be awesome.

No, the part of the inspector and Fantomas' counterpart will be played by Jean Reno. Hopefully they will go for a serious and darker version than the series with de Funes. I don't think, Gans will do a comedy!

Yeah Christophe Gans is an awesome thriller director (as we can see in 'Brotherhood of the Wolf' which is btw one of the best fantasy films I've ever seen). But I can't imagine Reno in this role...
