Her teeth in “Thief”

Her teeth look really weird in Thief. Like she has the filled in gaps between her teeth, almost like dentures or bridgework.

She was about 40 when the film was made, but her teeth made her look mid-50s.

Was this intentional to make her look more blue collar or whatever, or did Weld take a big slide? She was quite pretty 10 years prior, I can’t believe someone as famous as her would let her mouth go to hell, she would have access to the best cosmetic dentistry there is.

I can see where she might have had dental problems if she was a drunk who vomited a lot (the acid rots your teeth) or did a bunch of amphetamines (meth mouth). But it’s still hard to square that with her being a movie star and having access to great dental.
