He seems to be on the wrong footing as of late. He refused to cooperate with Stallone when he approached him about letting him use Apollo's archive footage in "Rocky Balboa". Weathers wanted a role in that film possibly having forgot that he was killed off in "Rocky IV". He demanded Stallone a large sum of money for the footage and Stalone said no. Stallone signed a multi-film contract with Nu Image/Millenium and he's working on "The Expendables", an actioner with lots of stars from the past, including Dolph Lundgren. Stallone would've cast Weathers in this if he would've cooperated. Weathers didn't even attend the premiere of "Rocky Balboa" like other "Rocky" alumni.

No, he didn't but he would've kept him in mind when casting for an actioner like "The Expendables". He cast Dolph Lundgren in it. He simply couldn't be in "Rocky Balboa" but would've considered him in one of his future films. Weathers is an underrated actor and has lots of potential to be back in the mainstream.
