Carl Weathers--Singer

Back in the late 1970s or early 1980s there was an R & B single by him that got decent airplay on an AM radio station in New Haven, CT where I was living at the time. I don't know if there was an entire album or not and can't remember the name of the song. Does anybody else remember this? I can't find any info on it anywhere.

No. I definitely know the difference between Carl Weathers and Bill Withers!

Sometime after "Rocky" I heard Weathers was pursuing a singing career. I don't remember any other significant details.
