Didn't this "person of interest" stuff happen before about 5-10 years ago?

I seem to recall articles from several years ago claiming that the case was re-opened and Wagner was a person of interest, and then nothing. Do they just do this every few years or so to stir up interest?

Personal opinion: She was drunk and fell off the boat.

There was something that came out about the case in 2011, but as far back as I can remember there wasn't anything done. I don't know why he wasn't treated as a person of interest in 1981, because 85% of the time the spouse is the culprit, especially on a boat, with only two other people around to corroborate other wise. But maybe ol' Frankie Sinatra really was serving as Wagner's guardian angel.

That's what I remember. Of course the media also loves this kind of thing because it does stir up attention.

He was questioned in 1981 and cleared of all wrongdoing. He was also questioned in the 1990's and the 2000's and cleared of all wrongdoing. When they reopened the case in 2014 (is that right??), he said the hell with you to the investigators and directed them to his lawyers.

BTW: I thought there were six people on that boat including Natalie. But two or six, they're going to have to say everyone was complicit to make a case?

This fan fiction pops up over and over, usually stimulated by crazy Lana, and all the Natalie worshipers flip their lids with unprovable speculation for a while, then it quiets down again. It's a sort of occasionally recurring gay holiday.
