So how did this guy end up doing 30+ movies per year?
LOL
shareBecause he's frikin AWESOME!!!
shareI like him too.
But in more famous films (Desperado, Machette etc.).
When you're a character actor like him, you're only in a scene or two for most of your movies and not on set for a long time, so you're free to do more than one movie a month. I think his only real starring roles were in the two Machete movies, though he was featured throughout Con Air.

The sun is shining... but the ice is slippery.
Amen, Yakazuma. There's nobody like him. This Beautiful Ugly Man is still on my personal Ten Most Wanted list.
I'm only in Show Biz by injection
Beautiful Ugly Man. Perfect. Can't remember 1st time I saw him,but I remember looking him up to see who he was. Good guy/bad guy, love him.
Johnny 23. That's one's twisted son of a bitch. Of course, so was every other yahoo on that plane with the exception of Nicolas Cage, his buddy, and Swamp Thing.
shareFlippin' Redbox! They crank out ridiculous volumes of $1,000 budget films. I can't blame C & D list actors for taking the roles, cuz otherwise they'd be unhirable, but it does give Redbox a crappy branding. It used to seem like just Seagal & Van Damme had the market cornered. Now it's any actor that doesn't have a major studio contract.

shareSimple. Quentin Terantino's from dusk till dawn and Robert Rodriguez's Desperado both released within a year of each other at the height of both directors' careers. This have Danny Treo his notoriety. He's been taking every roll offered to him since. Machete really helps keep the momentum going in between all the excessive crap he is in.
BTW, I've been a Danny Treo fan for 20 years even though I must admit his acting is terrible LOL
