Negative Comment from Entertainment Weekly

Entertainment Weekly apparently considers her a C-list actress. In their review of The Party Never Stops, they refer to her in that way, which is unfortunate because even though some people's careers may be better than others, I try not to attach everyone to a list (A, B, or C-list). I'd rather watch her than some other actresses Hollywood has to offer. I wouldn't consider her C-list. Does anyone else?

She IS the MOST under-rated actress/actor out there. I wish society, or all of those critics out there would give her more credit. She's amazing.

Go look at my Myspace for her! She's done so many great movies!

It's not a criticism of her acting. It's about her popularity. Actually, I think putting her on the C-list is generous. She is more like a D-list actress.

Only fools are enslaved by time and space.

She may be a C-list celebrity but she's an A+++++ actress!!

i think they said the same thing about most of the cast of Deadwood when the show first debuted. there's a few actors on that show who i would consider somewhat higher than a C-lister... :P

That comment by EW is a shame, because she really is a good actress. I'm a little confused as to why she went from fairly well-known studio projects in the late 80s and early 90s to the occasional role in C-list projects here and there. Hollywood is fickle. She was an "It" actress for a while. I'd love to see her garner some notoriety again.

Nah, not C-list, and who cares, really, like the OP said. If an actor/actress is right for a part, and does a good job, what does it really matter in the long run how "hot" they are, etc?

Here's a cool little interview with her, btw: http://shareddarkness.com/2008/06/10/nancy-travis-axe-murderer.aspx
