Well, yeah he was always short but when you are a kid, it's ok. You can pretend that you're younger or something. He is really short and so he probably couldn't continue his heartthrob status as an adult, which really hurt his career chances.

Michael J. Fox is a more apt analogy, since Green and DeVito are more along the lines of supporting leads/character actors and Fox was a leading man. JTT's career was cut short probably by his own choice and the fact that it's difficult for a massive teen star to move into adult roles.

I don't understand this obsession with being tall. JTT looks amazing, and there is nothing WRONG with that...no matter how tall he is! I just don't understand the importance of being tall. Tall doesn't make you better than anyone. I think Hollywood is FULL of short people! Maybe we should have our own Cable Network! hahaha

Are you saying short men can't be attractive and can't be heartthrobs? Is Bruno Mars not one of the hottest entertainers in the world? Women fall all over him. Being 5'5 hasn't hurt him.

What about Prince? Do you think anyone ever denied his attractiveness because he was 5'2? Did his height make women any less attracted to him?

lol Short celebrities can still be considered "heartthrobs" because they have celebrity and/or money. Period.
