As for the statistics, I think that some men, maybe more than some, tend to like younger women. There's still a stigma in society that women lose their worth, especially looks wise, when they are older. Men get more distinguished, and women just get old.
Hugh Jackman was talked about in a negative way for being with his ex wife. People make comments about Keanu Reeves significant other. He's 6 years older than her, but she's still criticised for looking old.
So....I think that if more men liked older women, you would see maybe it a little more close statistic wise.
I didn't say she can't date him. I'm just pointing out that it's usually men who do this. Women are called cougars when they do this, but there's no term for men even though it's mostly them.
