Scott Brunton, the man who accused George Takei of drugging and sexually assaulting him in 1981, almost certainly wasn't drugged, changed key details of his story, and told at least one outright lie to The Hollywood Reporter, where Brunton's allegations first appeared last November.
... The Takei incident is a reminder that not all victims tell the truth, and it's important to carefully vet the facts before ultimate judgment is rendered.

I heard Scott got a handout out of court and that his spitroasting between Takei and Spacey was enjoyable and he got an ice cream afterwards.
And this is the reason I feel as a woman in all cases where sexual assault occurs both names should be held back and there is a press blackout. Both names are protected until proof is found. I'm so sick of seeing men destroyed by allegations alone. And if women are found to be liars, they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for filing false reports. Some say that would stop women from reporting instances of sexual assault. That's crap. In this day and age where women are holding most of the power, it means they bear the burden of proof.

shareWhoa, I'm on Woody's side. I feel Mia is the villain here. I think what she has done is diabolical. I don't and never have felt Woody could have done this. I know it's destroyed his life. The actors who have come out against him are not only fools, but led to the bowl idiots. I still think in all cases of rape and accused rape both names should be protected until a proper court verdict is rendered. It does women no good deed to falsely accuse men of crimes, in fact it muddies the waters of what is actual sexual abuse/rape. In my mind if a woman falsely accuses a man of rape and she's been proven to be a liar.... all kid gloves come off. If they want equality then they have to accept equal blame when they lie. I feel that men who have been wrongly accused should be able to dip into any and all victims' funds in order to have their mental and emotional needs met in the wake of having their lives wrecked....like Allen's has been. Enough is enough. Any liar needs to be held to task for their crimes. And yes, they have committed crimes. That crime is perjury. As for Mia Farrow she needs to be taken to task and charged with abuse of the legal system and abuse of the gene pool for that tool Ronan.
shareI agree with you entirely. I was just bringing up Allen because of the similarity of his case--a guy being accused of something then being villainized by the press and public when there's every indication he's probably innocent.
