1940? You mean he was only in his forties during much of TNG?


He's one of those guys that must have aged very young and then just kind of hovered there. Can't believe he was only 47, probably started filming at 46, when TNG first aired. He looked closer to 60, albeit a very healthy 60. I'm watching him in Lifeforce right now and he just looks so much older than 45.

I'm sure it has a lot to do with his extreme MPB and premature greying as his skin didn't look that old.

He didn't look 60 in season 1. I guess you're letting the baldness cloud your perception.

He looked like he was in his 60's in TNG to me. He's even played as an older character, they constantly talk about his retirement and how long he's been in Starfleet.
