Stern is a great interviewer, man do I love his interviews
He often interviews a celeb I couldn't care less about and by the end I totally care about them!
Stern is polarizing, I get it and some of his shenanigans are not for everyone
I find him to be a very talented comic personality...the radio will be less fun when he retires in a couple of years

Selling is my point. Countless celebrities have gone on and said the most salacious lies and acted raunchy though they have never been before or after.
The show is full of fluff and purposely drawn in as uncut and uncensored when nobody ever behaves like that but its braindead audience believes every word. Just like Jerry Springer. And NO I dont find how creative or interesting. The guy is down right gross looking and probably be locked up if he didnt have millions of dumb sponsors backing him up.
Fun, comical? I’ve never seen a respectable journalist take him seriously or a respectable person watch that junk!

His interviews were much better years ago when he was still on KRock. Now, he censors himself and tries to be more mainstream. He also banished many guests like Gilbert Gottfried. The old Howard was more daring and open. I'm still a fan but I listen less often.
shareHe was right to banish Gilbert Gottfried, and this is from a GG fan who listens to his podcast regularly. The problem with GG is that he would start getting out of control and derail the show, to where it would be 20 minutes of him saying the same joke over and over again while laughing to himself, and long after everyone had stopped laughing. GG is at his best when he's controlled; out of control, he's a disaster.
shareProbably true. For years I turned Stern's show off when GG was a guest because he was so offensive. I can listen to him on other shows though when he's more restricted.

Gilbert was very good in my opinion but maybe not for everyone
