I was thinking the same thing. Look at "The Graduate". She's about the same height as Dustin Hoffman. I think they exaggerate a little on these things.

My brother is a retired NYPD detective. When he was a young beat cop, he was frequently assigned to help provide crowd control at movie premieres in Manhattan. He stood next to a lot of famous actors and he always said was that every actor and actress was shorter than they claimed to be (and older). My brother is 6' 1" and he said all the actors who claimed to be 6 foot were usually around 5' 9". And the actresses were the same, but it is easier to lie when you can just put on a pair od shoes with higher heels.

I sent to high school with Katie, and she is about 5'3" or 5'4" And she is truely a nice person

I think her date of birth is listed wrong too. I think she was born in 1942.

I was gonna say the same thing. In some pictures she does look rather tall, but in others she looks short, so I can't really decide. In The Stepford Wives she looks like she's around 5'6", but when compared to Dustin Hoffman (who is just over 5'6") in The Graduate, she looks a bit shorter than him.

Exception to that rule: Very tall actresses. An actress six feet tall will likely claim to be 5'10" or so to be more castable against shorter actors and/or because it appears more feminine.

I may have been bifurcated, but I still have feelings.
