Wrong. It wasn't just a slap. This wasn't two private citizens in a confrontation in a semi-private setting. It's what that slap represents. Chris Rock is a public figure and this was a public humiliation in front of the entire world. It also sets a very dangerous precedent. Not only for people in general but especially for comedians.
