'Black Snake Moan' performance

I checked out this movie because I heard it was decent, a bit controversial AND because I heard Kim Richards was in it. I'm a bit of a cinema buff and, at 36, I was brought up on her work and quite aware of her when I was little. After all, it was she and Jodie Foster who were both aligned strongly with Disney movies.

Okay, so I was truly surprised. She did quite a good job in this movie. I would have thought perhaps she would be rusty because it had been years since her last screen performance. She was natural on-screen, and was able to be mean and without artifice.

Good job Kim, I hope she reads this.

I would have thought this performance would have generated an interest by Hollywood agents to garner her more work. I certainly don't know if that happened or not but nothing came out of it in any obvious way. But all in all, she should be pleased. She showed she had acting chops!
