Christmas Show

Hi!

I've been a fan of Kim's since Nanny and the Professor too. I always liked her and wanted to get into movies because of her but unfortunately I didn't get to do that.

I was wondering does anyone remember a Christmas Show that Kim was on back in the '70s. I think Merv Griffith hosted it. Kim came out on a horse and sled and she sang a song (don't remember which one). I think this show lasted two years. If anyone remembers please post the name. Thanks! :-)

It was a half-hour special, broadcast November or December 1973. Kim sang "Winter Wonderland". Later in the show she did a skit in which she played an elderly woman.

I'm watching it now on MeTV and I'm just dumb-founded that performances like Kim's of "Winter Wonderland" and Rodney Allen Rippy's of ..some other song, were even allowed on the air. I mean, beyond 'ouch', it never would make the air today (so, not everything was 'better' in the 'good old days', apparently). They were talented kids, especially Kim's acting, but in no way shape or form was either one a singer. It was painful! Halting, off-key and just ... eesh. Poor Kim looked embarrassed and sad sitting alone in that giant sleigh. Given her troubles nowadays, it's perhaps easier to understand.
