No one has commented, so I will write a summary.

The pilot is called "Why Us?" It is about a blended family. John Lawlor & Joanna Gleason play a newlywed couple who each have a daughter. Holly (Kim Richards) is a social butterfly and sexually precocious California beach girl; Zoe (Lauri Hendler) is a socially awkward bookworm. In the pilot, Zoe develops a crush on Hugh (Lance Guest). But when she tries to get to know him, she finds that he's interested in someone else.

Lauri Hendler is best known for playing middle daughter Julie on "Gimme a Break." John Lawlor is remembered for playing the headmaster on the early episodes of "The Facts of Life"; Joanna Gleason (daughter of Monty Hall) worked with Kim Richards on "Hello, Larry," in which Gleason played Larry's radio show producer.
