She's lied repeatedly over the past 4-6 years about her addiction. It is very sad because she truly is a full blown addict. I hope she gets help before her active addiction literally kills.

shareShe doesn't even believe her own lies. That's why she explodes every time anyone even questions her sobriety. When she admitted she took one of her ex-husband's pain pills (after 1st denying taking anything then switching to she took one of her own) she tried to say that wasn't slipping. She knows deep down inside that she's an alcoholic and drug addict, she just refuses to admit it. She even hid bottles of booze in a house where she was invited to have dinner. Her main problem is she's surrounded by enablers and people who lie and hide facts for her. They think they're helping her when all they are doing is hurting her. She's also VERY mean and nasty. Now that her best friend (and only friend) is the snake Brandi Glanville she's even meaner than she was before (I didn't think that was possible). In the case of those two, birds of a feather, flock together. Kim needs SERIOUS help. Both mental and physical help. She's not just nuts because of her drug and alcohol use. She has serious mental issues. She needs a year in a facility to treat all her problems. Brooke said she will never talk to her again. Now I'm sure if Kim got help her daughter would come back to her but Kim will not get the help she so desperately needs. She'll end up dead or alone if she doesn't do something soon. I can't stand her. I would like her to get help though. I'm sure she would be a lovely person if she were clean, sober and mentally healthy.

She drinks and uses prescription medication to dull and numb the pain of just how unhappy and miserable she is with the choices she's has made in both her personal and professional life. It's really sad to see just how far she will have to go to hit bottom, because everytime I think she's hit bottom, it turns out she's only getting started. You are so right about the enablers that are either family and/or friends. At least now Kyle and Mauricio are no longer feeling they are responsible for her and for her drinking and misusing prescription medications. If she's not drinking then she's popping pills. Kim is not a happy drunk, she's a mean drunk and when she really bad she's so venomous and vicious to the people who love her and worry about her well being. But, Kathy Hilton is still enables Kim out of concern but it's never going to help her. The family really needs to cut ties with Kim until she goes to rehab for more than a few days. She needs to be in there for 9 weeks, since she abuses both prescription medication and alcohol. Force her to attend AA meetings everyday through a court order, if she misses a day, she'll go to jail, because she needs it.
Both Kim and Brandi have some serious mental issues. Both suffer from borderline personality disorder, narcissism (more Brandi), issues with rejection and I think both women have substance abuse issues. Brandi is controlling and manipulating Kim by giving her alcohol and the attention she wants. This is not a healthy relation at all. Brandi clearly wants to come between Kim and Kyle and seems to enjoy pouring salt on their wounds. Brandi is just plain delusional. I now see why Eddie left her crazy ass. He's not coming back to ride on Brandi's crazy train. I would seriously think of removing their two sons from her permanently because I think she very unstable. It's an unstable house with an unstable woman. The constant moving is not good either. Almost every 6 months they're moving to another house.
Kim has a lot of resentment towards Kyle and her husband from a decade long feud over money, the Palm Springs home that the family once shared. But, they paid her a lot of money to become sole owners and now she's crying they took advantage of her when she badly needed money. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. You can tell that Mauricio has lost his patience with Kim and her numerous meltdowns. Giving her money and paying her mortgage for almost a year. Then, she unleashes her venomous anger on him. He's washed his hands of her.
