The worst nightmare for a parent!

My heart goes out to Debbie Reynolds and her family!

reply

Indeed. The world lost an icon but she lost a daughter. My sincere condolences go out to her more than anybody.

reply

Two forces of nature. Ms Reynolds apparently taught her daughter well.

When faced with humiliation (her friend stole her husband) Debbie held her head high and moved on. Carrie was a woman who also carried on despite being a woman and therefore subjected to Hollywood's bs about women. Personally, I love them both for their f.u. attitude.

RIP Carrie and thank you and for your Mother. Love you both for being real women!!!!!

You mean well, just... Edit the title, please. Change "of" to "for". It has a completely different meaning as is; a very negative meaning.

Also, Mrs Reynolds suffered a stroke and passed away less than an hour ago. We're walking on eggshells here, so be cautious, please.

Respectful condolences to family members, friends, colleagues and admirers.

reply

Agreed! Yes,.... "for" reads much better.

Such terribly sad news. They are both together now. RIP

I just now caught that. I find all this as sad as everybody else, but when the wording of the OP hit me, I had myself a good chuckle. I was like "Well, that was a tacky thing to say." Still laughing over that one.
