Favorite Movie/Performance

What are some of your favorite movies/performances of Debbie? Mine are....

Singin' In The Rain - Outstanding performance in one of Hollywood's classic film. Hard to believe she was only 19 when she made this. She certainly held her own against Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor. The scene where she and Kelly meet so funny.

Two Weeks With Love - She is so cute as Jane Powell's younger sister. Wonderful duets with Carleton Carpenter (Aba daba honeymoon and Row, Row, Row)

Hit The Deck - Another great musical with an all star cast.

How the West Was Won - Memorable performance as Lilith Prescott. Great chemistry with both Gregory Peck, Robert Preston and, of course, Thelma Ritter! The version of Greensleeves she sings "Home in the Meadow" is a favorite of mine and one I enjoy singing to myself every once and a while.

Goodbye Debbie. We will miss you. 😒

My favorites are:

BUNDLE OF JOY (1956)
and
THE SINGING NUN (1964)

I'm also quite fond of SUSAN SLEPT HERE (1954).

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

I like her in The Tendet Trap. Also The Catered Affair, one of her better dramatic performances. Like her AND Jean Simmons both in Divorce American Style.

Halloweentown is my favorite DR movie. I'm not sure about my favorite performance, though.
