It is more common than you think. For an 84 year old woman Carrie's death would have been a terrible shock.

But surely not enough to kill you? Even if you are 84. Must have just been an eerie coincidence. Or she wanted to die so she stopped taking medication. That's what my grandad did. He decided he didn't want to live miserably anymore so he stopped trying and died a day later

I suspect that the stress of losing her daughter caused the stroke which claimed her life. So very sad for her son and granddaughter. My condolences to the family.

Keep in mind I believe heart disease runs in their family...this is not Debbie's first stroke...
